FLOW DYNAMICS HELLAS was founded in November 2005, combining the over 15 years of experience of its members in the field of fluid mechanics.
Technical background.
FLOW DYNAMICS HELLAS possesses a high level of technical knowledge in the following topics:

Software
ANSYS CFX
ANSYS CFX distribution, training, technical support and application development. The company is active in the markets of Greece, Middle East, Eastern Mediterranean and Balkans.
CFTURBO
CFTURBO Pump impeller and volute design software.

Test Benches.                                                                                                                          Design and construction of special quality control and measurement systems according to our customer's requirements. In addition FDH has a significant experience in old systems repair and renovation. All test benches are fully automated, PC controlled through a user friendly graphical user interface.

Pumps                                                                                                                                           Full system for pump testing according to ISO 9906. Flexible design permits sizing and equipment selection according to customer needs.

Flow meters
Calibration - check systems for flowmeters according to ISO 4185. Design for compliance to other standards if necessary.

Blowers
Special experimental system for axial fan characterises measurement. Flow characteristics can be measured as well in cross sections upstream and downstream the fan. Available with 2 (or 3) axis automatic movement system and a linear flow rate regulation system.

Hydraulic equipment
Automatic systems for measurement and checking of auxiliary equipment such as gate or butterfly valves, hydraulic valves (including pressure regulating and quick relief). Development of special systems according to specific application needs is possible.

Services
The company provides computational flow simulation as well as flow measurement services both to industrial and consulting firms. The services provided cover a wide range of applications and among other the following can be included:
• Complex flow phenomena simulation and flow characteristics calculations including forces, concentrations, power exchanged etc.
• Equipment and process design (from the beginning) or alternatively optimization of existing ones.
• Velocity, pressure, flow rate measurement in complex geometries and under non conventional conditions.
• Failure and critical situations diagnostics.
